Welcome to that black & white cat weddings. I’m an award-winning UK wedding planner and outdoor wedding expert, planning relaxed, joy-filled weddings and events across the UK, from my base in Nottingham, East Midlands.
I plan weddings that feel like proper celebrations. Think dancing under the stars, fairy lights coming on as the sun goes down, packed dance floors, great food, brilliant music and guests who don’t want the night to end.
From epic outdoor parties in tipis and marquees, to laid-back garden weddings and joyful country house celebrations, I bring together all the moving parts to create weddings that feel effortless, fun and completely you.

As a specialist outdoor wedding planner, I’m best known for planning blank-canvas weddings — including marquee weddings, tipi weddings and festival-style celebrations on private land across the UK.
From gardens and open fields to country houses and established venues, I plan weddings throughout Nottingham, Rutland, Derby, Leicester and the rest of the UK that feel relaxed, full of energy and full of personality.
Outdoor weddings come with extra layers — weather plans, power, access, layout, timings and guest comfort — but that’s where my experience really comes into its own. I know how to turn an empty space into a wedding that works: one that flows beautifully, feels welcoming for guests and gives everyone space to relax, mingle and party.
Alongside outdoor celebrations, I also plan indoor weddings and events, including laid-back country house weddings, bringing the same focus on atmosphere, guest experience and a dance floor that stays busy all night.
I’m the founder of that black & white cat weddings & events, and I’ve been planning weddings and celebrations for nearly ten years. After training with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP), I’ve gone on to plan over fifty weddings and win multiple industry awards, including Best UK Wedding Planner at the English Wedding Awards and Best East Midlands Wedding Planner at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA).
Based in Nottingham, I work as a UK wedding planner across the East Midlands and nationwide, supporting couples who want their wedding to feel relaxed, personal and brilliantly put together.
