When E & E came to me for help planning their garden-party celebration at Kin House Wiltshire, we knew it would be special. From the morning’s first pour of champagne on the lawn to the final toast under fairy-lights, the team at Bates & Bates Photography captured every one of the summer’s best moments.
Set just on the edge of the Cotswolds in Wiltshire, Kin House is equal parts country-manor elegance and laid-back garden charm. The weekend kicked off the evening before the wedding with drinks on the lawn and a relaxed rehearsal-dinner under stars — the perfect prelude to the main event.
The wedding day started with a ceremony held in the Garden Room at Kin House, Wiltshire. This space lends itself perfectly to wedding ceremonies. The end of the aisle featured a large deconstructed floral arch, created by Gloria Flower Studio, in a pink colour palette. Meadow arrangements were on both sides of the aisle. A Welcome Sign and Order of the Day, from Ten Story Stationery, welcomed guests on arrival.
This wedding breakfast set up is just DIVINE! The room was set up with three long tables, as well as the top table. The deconstructed flower arch from the ceremony was repurposed to frame the top table. The room was decorating with this stunning draping. Let us here it for DRAPES from drap.d! We just love them as they totally transform the place.
The tablescape included a mixture of scattered, colourful bud vases and flower bowls, complimented with ceramic candle holders, pale pink napkins, and a dinner menu. The meadow flower displays were also repurposed for the ends of the tables. Guests were treated to a delicious three course meal which featured sharing desserts! Check out the large meringues filled with cream and fruit (now I am feeling hungry!).
One of our favourite things about E&E’s Cotswolds wedding at Kin House Wiltshire was the candid photos. Following a change of outfit, we love these natural photos captured on the croquet lawn. A round of applause for the photography and videography team for capturing these!
The evening started with the wedding cake cutting. A stunning three tier deconstructed cake from Suss Cake Studio, who also supplied individual cakes for guests. Then partying to the early hours with soul band, the Brigg Street Players.
