Derby tipi wedding

Sally & Angie’s summer wedding was crammed with personal touches throughout the days. Held at a friend’s farmhouse, the grounds provided the perfect backdrop for a three hat tipi wedding set up from Sami Tipi.

The day started by dodging the showers for a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony led by the couple’s friend. All against the backdrop of a floral ceremony arch decorated by Polka Dot Florist.

All the laughs

My lasting memory of Sally and Angie’s wedding day will be the smiles and laughs. Garden games and a zip wire provided entertainment all day. They even held a game of ‘Mrs and Mrs’ which had everyone laughing.

The afternoon featured an acoustic set from Waking Vegas. When everyone hit the dancefloor, we were treated to all the moves!

Our favourite moments for this wedding were.

– The farmhouse was also home to four cats and of course it was my pleasure to have on my ‘to do’ list ‘feed the cats’. Lucy the cat had been a regular assistant throughout the wedding planning (even appearing on zoom calls) and our favourite. Though Captain Ginger Pants (the farm cat) was a close second! When we manage your wedding day, you can ask us to do anything!

– Sally and Angie really wanted purple water glasses so it was our pleasure to put them in touch with Stylish Weddings who was able to supply them. One of the advantages of using a wedding planner is making the most of our ‘little black book’ of suppliers!
