Super excited to finally share with you the full story of B&N’s barn wedding day at Castle View Farm & Stables, Market Harborough, Leicestershire today. As featured in the TIMES! It was a such a fabulous, outdoor wedding day with so many highlights to talk about. All captured by Gin Fizz Photographic and video by Callum Leishman Videography.
B&N chose our ‘Great Outdoor Wedding Planning Package‘ to plan their wedding day. In fact, this wedding planning package was created after feedback from them, and some of our other clients, about what helped them most to plan their outdoor wedding days.
We were also super chuffed to finally work with the lovely Susan Denton Celebrant on this wedding. Susan is a fellow member of the Leicester Wedding Network. If you are looking for a wedding suppliers for weddings in Leicestershire it’s the place to go!
N&B got ‘officially’ married a few weeks before the weekend of their wedding, so on the day they had a celebrant led, barn wedding ceremony facilitated by Susan Denton Celebrant. The flowers at the entrance and bouquets from Megan at Forget Me Not Florist were beautiful. We LOVED the traditional milk churns provided by Absolutely Vintage. Finally, the room was decorated with fairy lights and hanging wisteria by Princess Occasions.
The drinks reception started with prosecco decorated with edible flowers. They looked stunning! There was relaxed jazz music from the Futuristic Gramophones. Next there was traditional fair ground games from BK Entertainment to keep everyone entertained amongst the conversation and photos. Finally, we dived off to get some fab wedding photos with some purple smokebombs.
What you don’t see is me setting all the smoke bombs off and then standing out of shot! One of the many duties of an outdoor wedding planner!
B&N had their wedding reception in a tipi set up by Tipi Magic in the adjacent field with delicious catering provided by Mrs Bee’s Kitchen. This gave them the flexibility to invite more family and friends to the occassion. We fell in love with the stunning cake topper from Helen Alborn Cakes which was made to signify the couples nick names: Lizard and Mouse!
Wedding entertainment is one of the biggest questions for couples planning their outdoor wedding day. This wedding had the perfect mix.
As a surprise for their guests leaving the wedding reception and heading back up to the barn to party, the couple had arranged a fire performer from High Voltage Events. It was an amazing start to a fun packed evening of wedding entertainment.
Moving on to the evening, this started with the first dance accompanied by DJ & Sax Combo Jonny Ross Music. A vintage photobooth was installed by Old School Photobooth using the barns brick walls as the backdrop. A glitter station was provided by East Midlands Face Painters – this certainly provided a SPARKLE! The perfect evening for a barn wedding reception!
This was my first wedding with wedding BEER PONG! There were so many fab pictures from this easy DIY wedding activity I just had to add into it’s own dedicated section. Along with a couple more pics of the vintage fun fair games of course!
