I am so excited to share with you M&W’s fun wedding day. I had the pleasure of working with this awesome couple to rock their Rutland wedding last March – right before Covid swooped in and put the world on pause! Their day was so full of personality and loving touches – I think you might like it! Keep reading for more snaps and stories.
M&W got hitched with a gorgeous church ceremony. These photos by Shoot It Momma really capture the excitement and sentiment of the day. They held the rest of their wedding celebrations at Manton Village Hall in Rutland. The hall was dressed by Rutland Marquees with these stunning drapes and ‘LOVE’ letters which transformed the venue. There are so many creative ways to smash your wedding styling in a venue like this! In the evening, the stage curtains pulled back to reveal a band and DJ! The dance floor opened up for everybody to dance the night away. There were a fair few cheeky photo sessions with Pic Me Photobooths, too!
My role in this fun wedding day was On The Day Management. With this package, it’s my job to coordinate suppliers and make sure everything runs smoothly on your day. This means you don’t have to rely on your tipsy best man for anything important!
We really brought the springtime vibes to this March wedding. Check out these bright and fresh wedding flowers from Amanda Steele Flowers. The pops of yellow are so lovely! I love when a wedding can be kept local and seasonal. This spring breeziness is also brought through into the wedding cake which was super yummy!
Another talking point of this Rutland wedding day was the cake knife! ‘Happiness Is A Piece Of Cake!’ What a perfect little detail!
These fun wedding photos were taken at Rutland Water. As you can see from the veil, it was a very windy day! Refusing to be disheartened by the wedding, M&W got these stunning, joyful photos that they’ll treasure forever.
This wedding day was full of love and laughter. These mischievous groomsmen photos sum it all up. They wanted to hide the flowers from the mums so went around the back where the moment was captured. I also love these fun bridal party photos of everyone laughing and larking about. The smiles are infectious!
It was an honour to be involved in this gorgeous, fun wedding day. If you fancy a chat about weddings, you can get in touch here!
