We love sharing with you real wedding inspiration, so prepare yourself for some serious wedding gorgeousness from Tim and Carine’s wedding last summer.
In a stunning colour palette of greenery, gold and bright colours, we knew this wedding was going to exceptional from Day One.
A perfect marriage of English and African wedding traditions, we provided a bespoke full wedding planning package to match the bride and grooms specific requirements which included all planning, design and styling.
The wedding ceremony was held at Nottingham Cathedral. Carine wore a stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress with full length cathedral veil.
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom stopped off at Nottingham Castle for some more photo’s before heading to the wedding reception. I’d definitely recommend a stopover here if you are getting married in Nottingham!
More real wedding inspiration from the wedding reception! Guests were welcomed with a gorgeous welcome board. Tim and Carine had their own monogram created for their wedding day which was present on all the wedding stationery. The gold frame was provided by ‘that black & white cat’ with matching flowers from CK Flowers. A mongram is a great way of pulling together your wedding theme and doesn’t have to be expensive.
The main reception room continued with the greenery, gold and bright colours. A full table plan in gold frame with matching flower garland set the scene.
The table centrepieces were a mixture of high vases with flower balls and crystal candleabras with flower garlands. The couple also had custom-made napkin surrounds complete with monogram to finish off the tablescape. The chairs were finished with gold chair sashes and gold sequin runners.

The couples wedding cake consisted of 2 flavours across 4 tiers with matching flowers.
From wedding speeches to the first dance, the rest of the day was incredible. One of the highlights for me was the traditional African dancing.
