Prepare yourself for some serious real wedding gorgeousness from one of our recent weddings! It was a beautiful late spring day for D&H’s wedding day held at the Billesley Manor Hotel, near Stratford Upon Avon. When I first met my bride and she told me of her desired colour palette of red, dusky pink and gold I was so excited. I knew it would look absolutely gorgeous and it certainly did.

Wedding preparations were in full flow from early in the morning

The wedding ceremony was held in the Great Hall at Billesley Manor with the couple’s family and friends. The flower girls looked so cute in their gorgeous while and red rose petal dresses. And I love first look pictures – this one is no different!

And time for the confetti shot!

Of course there was the obligatory confetti shot. With colour coordinated red rose petals with the country house forming the perfect backdrop.

And there was chance for more photos in the glorious garden with the country house hotel & topiary gardens. Always work out with your photographer in advance locations for great photos. There was a few rain showers but these didn’t dampen the wedding spirit.

As the guests enjoyed their garden drinks reception, we made sure that the Topiary Suite was dressed to perfection with dusky pink ruffle hood chair covers with ornate brooches, matt gold candleabras and matching flowers with gorgeous peonies & hydrangeas. The bespoke stationery design used included a matching table plan, table names & place cards – all matching the colour palette perfectly.

We also lit the room with a starlit backdrop behind the top table and uplighters (matching the colour palette of course!) stationed around the Topiary Suite. The right use of lighting can transform a room and this case was no different.
